TW: What do you guys think about fictional rape?
There are A LOT of yaoi mangas that use the rape card unnecessarily, and when you call people out for supporting it even if "it's fiction" as some of them say they, you get kicked in the butt. Some of them said "we know it's bad but we just imagine it as if it SM play". Like wtf?? One even said "I don't support it irl but it's fiction so who cares what happens?". I just...I can't. I don't even know what to think. It's been bothering me all day.
Well it depends, like if it's for a psych/horror, then it is the plot at times, but It's super annoying when it's always added unnecessarily into story's, one of the best examples, is probably "if you hate me that much" by Fargo. The amount of rape was so unnecessary—and the way so MNAY story's get away with it like bj Alex etc, is honestly ridic...... 1 reply
