TW: What do you guys think about fictional rape?
There are A LOT of yaoi mangas that use the rape card unnecessarily, and when you call people out for supporting it even if "it's fiction" as some of them say they, you get kicked in the butt. Some of them said "we know it's bad but we just imagine it as if it SM play". Like wtf?? One even said "I don't support it irl but it's fiction so who cares what happens?". I just...I can't. I don't even know what to think. It's been bothering me all day.
Thats like my main reason why I dont wanna read Painter of the night cause its super rapey. Like i see a lot of it on my insta and its like "oh but he feels bad that he raped him repeatedly so its ok and theyre in love!" but its just like?? uncomfortable cause a lot of yaoi that has rape in it doesnt adress that its wrong and basically says if the ...... reply
