On April 24th there is going to be something called "National Rape Day" where sexual assault will be glorified and/or committed. I understand that most people say "Oh it's a joke." honey, jokes are supposed to be funny. The only joke here is when your mother says she still loves you. Other people are saying it is not a joke and that makes it even fucking scarier. Bestie, joke or not it's best to be cautious, man, woman, nonbinary, we are ALL at stake but especially women. (I am absolutely NOT saying that men cannot get raped too but this campaign is targeted at women) For the men, this is your time to shine and demonstrate "Not all men"; if you have any female friends walk with them to places and walk them back, if she is feeling like she is being followed, pretend to be a brother, a boyfriend, a close friend. Hell, you should be fucking doing this in general. For my ladies, be VERY careful when going outside and do NOT go outside late, especially on the 24th, carry pepper spray or a weapon on you, hell, just don't go outside at all.
