Mostly we wait until 12 to surprise with cake and flower bouquet . If we don't then we wish at the end of the day before 12 am making them feel like we forgot. Every year this is the routine for the 5 of us . Sometimes we get gifts if we ask for and we have a feast on our birthdays you can have whatever you wish for Alhamdulillah 1 reply
I just don't. Every year, my birthday falls during my exams, even this year. My birthday is in 12 days and my exam starts in 6 days. M birthday never gets celebrated, and even if it does, it gets celebrated after my exams, almost 2 weeks late. Plus, I don't usually get any presents either, so yea.... reply
When I was younger my mother would buy a cake and make lots of food and all my friends and family would come over.

when i was in school, my friends would plan a surprise gift for me but now (in a fucking pandemic) i would just celebrate it w my dad and he buys me blueberry cheesecake :’) i love him reply
normally ill be woken up and open presents and cards but get a ton of money and go shopping sprees in london with my 1 friend

Uhh a small cake does it all. If it’s our parents birthday we bake for them. This year we just bought cakes from Tesco.. it was chill. I usually never got birthday gifts neither did my siblings. Again for our parents we just go out buying perfumes or cups.. something normal works out. reply
My mom either gets pizza and victoria sponge cake from costco or she gets KFC, but the KFC where i live sucks real bad so i'm going for the first option this year. Present giving is not really a thing on birthdays, it's something done when we see something nice that the other person would like. so i can receive multiple presents throughout the year...... reply
