My mom just told me that Im getting very fat and gotta control it , but Im already very insecure and used to have borderline bulimia . I was also sexualised in many ways by my peers for my body and hated everything . Now this feels like a final blow bc she was the only support I had someone just send memes or whatever.
The only problem with being overweight might be your health, so your mom is probably just worried for that. Parents don't really know how to say things to motivate, they just give orders or make it sound as criticism, but there is love in those words.
