My mom just told me that Im getting very fat and gotta control it , but Im already very insecure and used to have borderline bulimia . I was also sexualised in many ways by my peers for my body and hated everything . Now this feels like a final blow bc she was the only support I had someone just send memes or whatever.
My situation is similar to yours but I always tell myself whenever I get comments like that is that they don’t understand. Your mom’s world and yours are vastly differently and because of that you shouldn’t take that comment to heart because it should not matter to you.
