Prejudment
I love tattoo as an expression of art and I really want to get one, but since I'm japanese descendant my parents don't agree with it. They told me that if I go to Japan to travel I won't be well accepted too. Have you ever experienced some kind of prejudment because of tattoos? How is it seen in your country?
I live in California, and tattoos are not a big deal here at all. I work as a teaching aid and plenty of people I work with have visable tattoos and colored hair. I got my first tattoo at 19, and my mom was against it, but she got over it. My mom is pretty open-minded though. Personally, there is no special meaning surrounding my tattoos.
