A mini thing I wanted to say before I sleep since it’s been bothering me
So I wanted to state my opinion here...
I, as a woman who reads yaoi, don’t like how others use the statement “yaoi was made for women”. It’s just wrong to say that. It’s a really shitty thing to say when the relationships in yaoi are about the romance between 2 men.
I just didn’t really want to comment on these topics because seeing homophobic and mysogynistic comments as a young bisexual girl just disheartens me...
I just really wanted to say this. I hope this doesn’t get deleted and my account won’t get restricted. Gn you guys.
Also, if you guys want to have discussions, please be respectful... I don’t wanna see a full on war.. that would make me sad :((
Just wanted to state that the premise of yaoi being between men, does not mean the story is or isn't aimed at females.
ofc the target audience is exactly that, the target. All are welcome to enjoy the media they enjoy most.
Like with all fiction, if the audience enjoy themselves without it incorrectly influencing their non-fictional views/stereoty...... reply
