A mini thing I wanted to say before I sleep since it’s been bothering me
So I wanted to state my opinion here...
I, as a woman who reads yaoi, don’t like how others use the statement “yaoi was made for women”. It’s just wrong to say that. It’s a really shitty thing to say when the relationships in yaoi are about the romance between 2 men.
I just didn’t really want to comment on these topics because seeing homophobic and mysogynistic comments as a young bisexual girl just disheartens me...
I just really wanted to say this. I hope this doesn’t get deleted and my account won’t get restricted. Gn you guys.
Also, if you guys want to have discussions, please be respectful... I don’t wanna see a full on war.. that would make me sad :((
I don't know whether I understand your point so feel free to correct me. But if you go back to how the yaoi genre came to be, yaoi or BL (boy's love) is actually really catered for women by women. Majority of the first yaoi pieces(manga/manhwa/LN) were created by women (and majority are still by women). It's not entirely wrong to say because that's...... 1 reply
