A mini thing I wanted to say before I sleep since it’s been bothering me
So I wanted to state my opinion here...
I, as a woman who reads yaoi, don’t like how others use the statement “yaoi was made for women”. It’s just wrong to say that. It’s a really shitty thing to say when the relationships in yaoi are about the romance between 2 men.
I just didn’t really want to comment on these topics because seeing homophobic and mysogynistic comments as a young bisexual girl just disheartens me...
I just really wanted to say this. I hope this doesn’t get deleted and my account won’t get restricted. Gn you guys.
Also, if you guys want to have discussions, please be respectful... I don’t wanna see a full on war.. that would make me sad :((

It isn’t that I don’t know that yaoi was first made for women, I just feel sad when fellow women who read yaoi gatekeep gay men from the genre... same with some other stuff... I genuinely think all genres, no matter what they are, are to be ...... 1 reply
