I hate when mfs say "him or her" or "she or he"-

Normalize using they/them pronouns. It’s gender neutral. And for those who think it’s plural, they/them can be used as a singular pronoun too. But if someone mentions they prefer a certain pronoun be sure to use that.   reply

i understand ur point and its the same reason why i use they/them all the time whether im aware or not. but based on my experience, not everyone appreciates being addressed w they/them, so either of the two (him/her or they/them) can offend someone unfortunately   2 reply

I agree but when I see someone who "looks like a girl" I automatically think she/her and the same for boys. Ya'll seem to be trying to vilify everyone who doesn't use they/them pronouns when they address someone they don't know the pronouns of. Nah I'll refer to people with whatever pronoun I see them as. If I'm wrong then they can correct me later. I'm not going around calling people "they/them" unless specifically asked to by the person I am addressing.   2 reply

Online I always use they/them because it’s way easier but irl I use he or she subconsciously but if they tell me they want me to refer to them as something else then I’ll do it ‍♀️ ‍♀️ but tbh i usually just say peoples names when I don’t know them and then if they want to tell me their pronouns further down the line then yh   reply
