How do you feel about Yaoi & the misrepresentation of LGBT community in media?
Hi, I'd love to hear thoughts on this statement: "Hey fun fact! Fetishizing gay men is disgusting and if you’re a fujoshi/ yaoi fan you should stop and realize you’re not representing or helping mlm correctly by posting your “uwu trash sinful gaybies otp” and only harms the community". I know this kind of topic has already been asked again, & again. I don't mean to start a shit storm cuz I know that can get ugly quick but, Im often really unsure where I stand on this. I'd really appreciate hearing other viewpoints.
as a person of the lgbt community yaoi or yuri can never be a good representation of gay men or lesbian women because in most yaoi and yuri the mc has either sexual harassed the mc once or practically raped their partner and most of these fan girls love to fetish gay people so we good i mean not all yaoi is bad but yall need fix it. 1 reply
