Why do you read yaoi?
Based off another question on here, but I just realized that I read a lot of yaoi stories (I read other things too, its not just exclusively yaoi content) but I don't really have any reason why I like it other than it's entertaining? Like I have no super deep or emotional reason to read so much of it, but I do anyway? Does that even make sense? So I'm just curious as to why other people read it and like it so much, because maybe then I can relate and understand myself more?
A question I occasionally ask myself. All I know for sure is:
1. Despite being straight I am not interested in straight romance
2. This might sound ridiculous but in both fiction and irl I'm easily jealous of the girl who receives the attention and affection of the guy I like, with yaoi those feelings aren’t there because there isn’t a female t...... reply
