so I was on tiktok and I saw a women that was talking about her life experience on s*xual assault so I called her a savage for going through all that but then someone started saying in my replies that savage is a slur ???? then someone replied being like wtf do you mean and they started getting mad and they're like. Having a full on arguement in my replies but thats not the point, so back to the question is savage a new slur ???? since when ???
savage isnt a slur but it depends on how you use it and the context of it. for example, calling someone "savage" for the color of their skin or because they have a mental illness is offensive but if someone is calling another person a "savage" because they made a snarky comeback then its okay. basically, context and the way you use it matters reply
