Imo you can't really compare hentai to yaoi, because not all yaoi mangas are pure smut, some of them actually have a plot and development, hentai on the other hand is just sex and the dude doesn't even have a face most of the time. So yeah, in a nutshell, I don't enjoy hentai because of what mentioned above. I guess you can say I'm a romanticist. ......   1 reply

I don't watch, I read it sometimes to fulfill some fetishes. But it isn't weird to enjoy rape-y yaoi. Most of the time, it is the woman who gets raped or ravished and objectified in hentai, so it is understandable to not enjoy it since you are a woman yourself. I have watched some but not recently. Partially b/c I don't have as much time and privacy that I used to and it's easier to just read. Many have elements I don't like that others have also mentioned in their responses: rape, harem, NTR, ugly men, boring story or lack of one, mind break, too many fluids, annoying female voices, lack of animation b......   reply

I've watched hentai, although rarely; and I gotta say, I'm just not that into it (even I'd crack up at their plots cause like oof, just wow)~ It's funny how I get hot when it comes to yaoi without the actual physical movement than hentai with characters that can physically move . Well, i'm a straight female too, but i don't like hentai/ecchi, i literally don't watch anime with "ecchi" on the genre even my friends tell me that theres not much ecchi things in it and the story is good. I still skipped it. But i do like yaoi, like a looottt. I found yaoi as a cute stories, even there is some rape in it but still. I think hent......   1 reply

I use to watch hentai but not anymore I am more of read manga about yaoi type of person. Personally for me I like a hentai where there just one girl and one guy having at it.   reply

I'm pretty sure the reason you like yaoi is the same reason as to why guys like lesbian porn so much It's really not that hard to understand.. :> And yeah, I do watch hentai, but I hardly ever come across any good ones and just stick to reading.
