AAPI month was a joke this year
We literally got nothing and everyone didn't even know. I'm glad for pride month but the fact a lot of people labeled May as "pre pride moth" was disgusting. We Asians were literally silenced and gaslit anytime we talked abt asianfishing, kris wu and ariana situation, and we were called the WHITE PEOPLE OF POC. Everything really completely invalidated our experiences.
Mocking and blaming Chinese people because of the rocket situation, using our sulture as an aesthetic, and tbh I'm just disappointed seeing everyone have anime pfps and enjoy our culture and KNOWINGLY not spreading awareness. People even leaving out South Asians and Pacific Islanders like theyre literally included in the month???
People are so dumb istg-
I never understood the "pre-pride month" thing, pride has its own month (not saying I'm against pride month either, I'm all for it, personally I'm genderfluid and pansexual, but the fact that AAPI month was so silenced is just nauseating)
People only think Asia is made up of people from China, Japan, and Korea, like no swee...... reply
