AAPI month was a joke this year
We literally got nothing and everyone didn't even know. I'm glad for pride month but the fact a lot of people labeled May as "pre pride moth" was disgusting. We Asians were literally silenced and gaslit anytime we talked abt asianfishing, kris wu and ariana situation, and we were called the WHITE PEOPLE OF POC. Everything really completely invalidated our experiences.
Mocking and blaming Chinese people because of the rocket situation, using our sulture as an aesthetic, and tbh I'm just disappointed seeing everyone have anime pfps and enjoy our culture and KNOWINGLY not spreading awareness. People even leaving out South Asians and Pacific Islanders like theyre literally included in the month???
im sick and fucking tired of this bs. why are we ALWAYS silenced, like that "stop asian hate thing" felt SO FAKE. barley anyone went and included the other countries in Asia except for east asia, like THEY ARE ASIAN TO???? and the way it was one month, and now no one talks about it anymore just shows how fucking shallow they were. oh shit, did i me...... reply
