Why are girls in action / shounen always annoying?
This is an honest question and not a rant because I legitimately need to know the reason why the authors choose to make the “strongest girl in school” appear like a sissy every single goddamn time she’s fighting alongside the MC.
I just avoid anything that smells like romance, if there is a female character she better be a strong badass that wouldn’t date the MC if not you won’t see me around reply
because stereotypes and misogyny on women, like the moment the guy comes in they swoon or need their protection and all of a sudden can't be their bad bitch selves anymore, thats just what i see all the time though reply
Some male authors and writers usually make the girls weak and don't know how to give girls strong backstories or powers. They're there to help the mc but don't have much self growth. Thats why u start reading black clover ;)))) reply
Because they are a nuisance when the MC has another problem of protecting them while in a challenging mission. And you can't argue me on this- "all girls in shounen are basically there for fan-service." 2 reply
