Trying to self-teach a language
I discovered duolingo online and was happy that they had Irish as one of the languages that you can learn. It has a bit of a personal connection for me because I come from a family of Irish-Appalachians. It's challenging, but I'm slowly making progress!
I speak English although it isn't my first language. My first language is Cantonese although over the years I've become terrible at it. It's hard to self study Cantonese. I do a bit of French and I want to learn Vietnamese, Korean, Japanese, Malay and seriously practice my Cantonese but no one I know speaks it besides my family and I doubt they wou...... reply
