Things that I hate in BL!
I a lot of yaoi, and I do this not just for the sex, I do this because I hope that I would find some good plot! Yeah, I'm one of the people who read yaoi for the plot and not for the sex. I would just start with the biggest problem in yaoi manga - rape. Trust me I read a lot of manga in my life, in the yaoi community rape is like the start of a relationship, and it seems like people are okay with this. The part that I love the most in rape is when the one who was raped just like "Oof, I was raped. Well, now I'm in love". The second problem is how yaoi works, I noticed that in a lot of yaoi manga the characters fuck ones and maybe twice in the first chapter. I just feel like the author doesn't give a shit about the plot, and just wanted to draw porn. Then there is the third problem - love. So the characters know each other for a week, and after that, I have to believe that they're in love. Then the mental health problem comes. I hate when the character has a big psychological problem, but at the end of the manga, it just disappears, because of love guess. Also, I love how after the characters tell they're painful background stories - they fuck because apparently, you can't do anything except fucking.
Oof, that was quite a lot, sorry (〜￣△￣)〜 My English is not perfect so sorry for that either. It was more of a conversation because I had to finally write everything that annoys for a long time.
That people think gay relationships are literally anything like how bl shows it. Or the fact that it lets those same people think that it is ok to ask inappropriate questions about sex. By the way, asking someone is they are an "uke" is incredibly inappropriate and not how things work 1 reply

I have seen some recent manga delve into the shy consentual realm and IT IS SO HOT
At the end of the day, it is always just fantasies brought to semi life through different mediums but in general, rape is never good.

yess another person who reads for plot! it's one of the main reasons i gravitate towards shounen ai instead of yaoi.. but if the plot is good enough i'll stick around and speed through the fucking lolol
