Yaoi was made for women by women. I don't understand why us lgbtq+ peeps are trying to take it away from them. First of all, yaoi sucks no one wants that rape, fetishization, heteronormative stuff. We have great queer representation that is made by queer people for queer people which is so much better than yaoi. Just leave them, straight women and men fetishizing two men or two women is not going to take them anywhere. They will realize what kind of a disgusting person they are when sense gets knocked into them. Us whining about it is not going to do anything.
Not really a hot take just a very uneducated and dumb one I’m pretty sure most of us disagree, just like men fetishize lesbians women fetishize gay men too, yaoi is catering to the hetero audience and misrepresents a lot of what it’s actually like to be queer, especially omegaverse.
