Why do women keep making BLs with rape or incest in it animated or they make them popular? i'm so tired...and also the ones that get popular always the ugliest ART, it's so hard being gay guy in the bl fandom/community, i can't even read SMUT because it's obviously not catered toward me
smut in general is a very problematic genre. most popular stories make "bottoms" (both men and women) as weak and dumb while falling in love with the people who basically manipulated and used them for their own pleasure. the fact that this is such a popular trope in smut still boggles my mind tbh reply
