Is he considered a drag queen? Or just a cross-dresser? In the manga and anime it showed that he liked wearing women's clothing, found them comfortable, and would sometimes go out wearing female clothing. Is a drag queen categorized as someone that is a performer and cross-dresses for an act, rather than casually cross-dressing?
He does state in series during a flashback that he enjoyed crossdressing even before his wife died (and she was perfectly fine that he did), so I think that just intensified when he realized that Haruhi needed a maternal figure in her life.
