What was the reason you guys started to like Bl and yaoi

I remember finishing a shoujo and going on the main page of a site ( it was an old site in my native language, doesn't exist anymore). So I'm looking at the newest added and reading descriptions of some. Something catches my eye, only five chapters, and a nice premise, ok. So I start reading and by the 4th chapter I'm pretty confused, where is the ......   reply
