Got weird texts
Yesterday I got a text from an email that sent a like to a porn game not really sure. I have a iPhone so there’s no phone number just an email at the top. I clicked the link thinking that one of my classmates sent it and was trying to mess with me. I don’t remember giving my phone number to any porn site or any site in that type of category. Was just wondering if anyone has experienced anything similar, knows what it’s about and how to stop it? Since yesterday I’ve gotten two new texts from different emails. My main concern is that it’s a virus but I’m also worried that it’s one of those links that get you sex trafficked. I would prefer not to have to tell my parents because they’ll might take my phone. Please help!!
I'd just go ahead and block the address and delete the message. Clicking random links is a surefire way to get a virus but in my experience, iPhones are really good w/ protection in that regard? If you're not giving any information out to wherever the link sends you, you're unlikely to get randomly sex trafficked tbh. Do some research on internet s...... 2 reply
