Least favorite trope?
I'm curious as to what y'alls least favorite tropes in manga are.
I fucking hate the dead ex lover trope (sorry given fans) because of how annoying it is when the new lover is constantly compared to the dead one. I just end up resenting the one with the dead ex because it feels like they still like the dead one more than the one that's ALIVE yk?
OOF let me take the list out:
1) Rape to romance. I mean sometimes I can leave my brain out of it and let it go, but most of the time it's not handled well. Like.. I hate when the seme rapes the uke but then for us to like him he has someone do something worse to the uke to make us think the seme is better by comparison. Like what kinda bs is that...... 1 reply

cheating, even if they didn't actually cheat and it's all a misunderstanding. it really gets on my nerves even just thinking about it is making my blood boil bc all the characters seem to be fucking useless idiots when a cheating trope is introduced and i cant mentally deal with it reply
it's where ukes in BL just look way too feminine, like I get it they can look beautiful and such but when they're skinny, short af and literally look like a girl just annoys me, specially when they're like "I can't... Please save me and protect me senpai".
this doesn't only apply to bl it applies to every part of romance genre where the "bottom"...... reply
To be honest i'm more of an open person but once i hate something it fall in hate hard in me.
I hate :
1. the "I'm so innocent i don't know anything uwu" bullshit
2. harem, especially reverse harem because like, bitch can you just pick one?
3. Too fast and too slow to fall in love
