I didn't really know what "black-washing" was until I came across a video of someone making Senku have a darker skin tone with Afrocentric features, As a Black person (from the Caribbean) im confused on the reason for that? My stance on this is shaky, and I would really like if you guys would share ur opinion on it.
Black washing doesn’t exist lol. Most people don’t even do it for representation, it’s just fun lol. Most the time, it’s just to see themselves in their favorite characters lol. And before anyone makes the stupid ass small brain arguments “since it’s okay to make someone black, it’s alright to make POC white”, that is utterly stupid...... 4 reply
