"blackwashing"
I didn't really know what "black-washing" was until I came across a video of someone making Senku have a darker skin tone with Afrocentric features, As a Black person (from the Caribbean) im confused on the reason for that? My stance on this is shaky, and I would really like if you guys would share ur opinion on it.
there's a difference. black washing adds representation and is usually there for blk people to feel comfortable. whitewashing takes away representation. but there are times where blk washing is bad like when the character's background race is very important IE: Mikasa or smth. reply
