I didn't really know what "black-washing" was until I came across a video of someone making Senku have a darker skin tone with Afrocentric features, As a Black person (from the Caribbean) im confused on the reason for that? My stance on this is shaky, and I would really like if you guys would share ur opinion on it.
For those who think it doesn’t exist it’s when people take a white or in anime cases Asian characters and make them black and saying they fixed the character or that the character is better now (because they made them black) that is what black washing is don’t act like it don’t exist just because white people did this and that
