I didn't really know what "black-washing" was until I came across a video of someone making Senku have a darker skin tone with Afrocentric features, As a Black person (from the Caribbean) im confused on the reason for that? My stance on this is shaky, and I would really like if you guys would share ur opinion on it.
black Caribbean here black washing isn't a thing its totally fine if someone draws a character with POC features bc we have to rep. whitewashing is horrible don't try and put that in the same box was turning a character black for rep. for me and a lot of black people it feels good to see someone who looks like you in media reply
