Loss of a parent
Please emergency! To people who have experienced the loss of a parent, what is the best way to comfort you? I can listen but should I say something? I will not give advice because I both can't and it's not my place to. What comforting words did you want to hear?
Most people just need someone that listens to their problems. Advice depends on the person. Let them first try to figure it out on their own. The first months after a funeral they get a lot of attention from everyone, and just want peace(is different for everyone). Just give them a place where they can speak their thoughts.
