so I used to read manhuas on mangatoon and webcomic, and that time i actually don't know a shit about rape, blackmail and all(cuz I'm still innocent and not really understand english)...so when i reread those manhuas on this site,,i just like why- ?? and people were hyping for those and that's why I don't understand mangatoon and webcomic's readers and i regret watching fcking ads for those shit

I don't think it's wrong to have rape in a story. What is wrong is authors using rape to make the victim "realize their feelings" for the abuser or describing non-con as something normal in a relationship. In short, people romanticizing rape are problematic. Rape has terrible consequences so it can be interesting to see a character trying to overco...... reply

Some people are into it. That’s all there is too it. As obvious as it may sound, feels like it needs to be said again: liking rape in fiction doesn’t mean you want it to happen in real life. at first i didnt read this completely and i was going to say how blackmail and rape are sometimes part of the story itself but then i read the part “people are hyping it”, i have never really encountered a comment section hyping rape but i do encounter comments hyping angst? maybe for blackmail and all other dramatic tropes some comments are on...... 2 reply
