thoughts on omegaverse?
personally, i think it fucking sucks and ive literally never come across one that didnt include fucking rape, assault, discussion of past rape, or manipulation w pheremones n shit. ive only read probably one where the omega actually made the alpha wait because the alpha fucking forced himself onto him. i wish there was more wholesome shit tbh
The works themselves are usually heavily heteronormative (which isn't unusual in BL, but these are more than the average), and yeah, the rapey things justified by it being just biology is very... dissuading.
Omegaverse has potential as a concept though.
I personally think that it can be hilarious as a concept if viewed as a satire of the way sexi...... 1 reply
