What's wrong with the yaoi community?
I've been seeing some of these tik toks, and been thinking about how they generalize gay men into two categories: top and bottom. Also, many people obsess over yaoi and dont seem to differentiate bw reality and fiction. I was wondering what other problems are there either in yaoi or in the yaoi community. Tbh, i just consider yaoi “for the girlies” bc it’s generally made by women for women.
It’s full of heteronormative tropes but every important character is a hot man (except for when the bottom is obviously just some genderbent fl)
