Opinions on the term "yaoi"
Am I the only one that feels really uncomfortable when someone uses the term "yaoi" and not BL? I always automatically think that that person is a fetishizer and doesn't see the genre as more than porno to get off to
I don't care. It's an outdated term, I don't use it anymore personally but y'all do what you want.
The problem regarding this word itself is that's usually associated with fujoshi and the fetishization of gay men.. but I think anyone attacking that word specifically isn't targeting the main problem which is literally the people fetishizing lmao (...... reply
