I don't care. It's an outdated term, I don't use it anymore personally but y'all do what you want. You can call it smutty BL or whatever you want, but at the end of the day that doesn't change the fact that we are reading about 2 guys having sex, Changing the name doesn't change the content ,let's not be such hypocrites, ok?   reply

yaoi and bls are diff yaoi contains smut, bls MAY contain smut (in that case it would be a yaoi) but if it is shounen ai then it has none! also remember not every yaoi is just porn every chapter there are plots too they have diff meanings... yaoi isnt even bad man not everything is ab the smut yk its also about how the plot progresses, and whether......   reply

I didnt even know that yaoi is considered outdated, so that’s good to know. Do you have any issues with the words shounen ai? yuri? shounen? shoujo? shoujo ai? josei? seinen? What does all of these terms have in common with yaoi? They're terms dividing the stories into different genres. Yaoi is literally one of them. And yet you're out here uncomfortable with the term.
