Opinions on the term "yaoi"
Am I the only one that feels really uncomfortable when someone uses the term "yaoi" and not BL? I always automatically think that that person is a fetishizer and doesn't see the genre as more than porno to get off to
I didnt even know that yaoi is considered outdated, so that’s good to know. For me personally it has always been this distinction: yaoi= contains smut and shows sex
Bl / shounen ai= no smut and no sex shown, sometimes implied
Knowing how it is seen nowadays I will have to change my wording I guess but I find it a bit weird to call things like s...... 1 reply
