So a while ago a classmate from finance management class tapped my shoulder to ask this "Hey I noticed you were reading a manhwa earlier. What were you reading?"
"Kill Switch."
"Ohh nice what's the genre?"
"Yuri."
There's dead silence and I can see the guy beside her purse his lips and look away. I immediately regret it. I'm never telling anyone again I know this is stupid to worry over but I just wanna know if it was a bad idea to say that? I might've made them uncomfortable HAHSHASDJS
So what, they asked, you gave your answer. If they're uncomfortable that's on them for not being able to handle someone else reading a particular genre. If you weren't reading any NSFW scenes there really shouldn't be a problem. And if someone is immediately associating yuri with being inherently sexual (..which it's not, it's more of a general ter...... reply
