I was reading a Shounen Ai Idol Novel (Not manga/etc) and because I was liking it I had to look up who the Main Love Interest was going to be (I love spoilers) and damn did I stumble upon more than I expected - one of the members dies of suicide & it was the cute shy one of the group, I mean I knew it was gonna be heavy with all these dark topic but nooo
Also I kind of had an itch who the love interest was going to be but I needed it confirmed, and yeah no I said bye bye novel it had such potential *sigh*
I went on a rant but did you guys have a story ruined by spoilers before? Or saved you from reading one instead?
I was hesitant about reading a novel once but I read the other novels by the same novelist, so I ended up being a part of the fandom. The people spoiled me about the unread novel so much that when I did end up reading it, I realized that I learnt more from the spoilers than from the actual novel.
