I cut our dog's nail too short and it bleed I'm crying and panicking a little bit while taking a cotton to stop the bleeding. The nail stopped bleeding. I'm typing and posting this to vent and to ease my panickin. It's my first time trimming our dog's nail too short. I'm so sorry.
I want to take him to the vet but my family said that it does not needed since the bleeding stopped so we just have to treat the nail appropriately.
You’re not the first person to do this and you won’t be the last so don’t feel too bad about it. You can buy styptic powder to stop the bleeding if it happens again in the future. This is the powder they use in vet offices when vets/vet techs accidentally cut the nail too short too! If not, some corn starch can also work reply

Yeah I have done it before, that yelp and the blood are awful. My dog had black claws and she moved when I went in for the snip and yeah.. traumatised us both. Your pupper will forgive you, it was an accident. Just lots of hugs and a treat for both of you help ease the pain (●'◡'●)ﾉ reply
