Does anyone else wonder why GL is so less popular than BL?
Even on here, 228 pages of the yaoi genre and only 48 pages for the yuri genre. And that doesnt even count for the amount of GLs that are tagged wrong and feature no WLW couples, plots, or even characters. Like damn i click on a comic tagged yuri and its actually a story of 2 girls fighting over 1 guy I AM NOT INTERESTED!!!
Ok so everyone already stated the general reason as to why BLs are way more popular than GLs but as a personal reason:
A lot of GLs are honestly really boring and as a lesbian I find that really unfortunate.
I like slow burn and slow paced stories but oh my gods most GLs take place in a mundane boring highschool setting where they really prioriti...... reply
