Does anyone else wonder why GL is so less popular than BL?
Even on here, 228 pages of the yaoi genre and only 48 pages for the yuri genre. And that doesnt even count for the amount of GLs that are tagged wrong and feature no WLW couples, plots, or even characters. Like damn i click on a comic tagged yuri and its actually a story of 2 girls fighting over 1 guy I AM NOT INTERESTED!!!
Probably because bl as a whole is more popular.
Romance is catered towards women and among women bl is more popular than gl. Women(Not all) want to see an attractive man have sex with another attractive man similar to how men(Not all) Like to see 2 attractive women have sex. most writers are going to write what's popular/ in demand.
