What is the most fuck up thing your parent(s)(or family members) have done to you?
Mines is my mom ask me to go to her wedding eventhough the person she’s marrying (my stepfather) abused me (and my sister) and gave me PTSD. Somehow abuse in my family is kept very secretive, like my mom’s cousin got severely abused ( beaten badly) by her ex lover and yet my aunt (mom’s sister) is still friends with him. My aunt and other family members had already know about it yet they still treat the ex lover as a friend.
Not gonna go into full detail but when I came out to my mom that I was doing sh again she got so upset and started telling me “why can’t you just be normal” and saying more stuff like “what did I do to deserve a daughter like you”
That hurt at the time but I’m all good now, I just try not to think ab it too much and I get that she did...... reply
