What is the most fuck up thing your parent(s)(or family members) have done to you?
Mines is my mom ask me to go to her wedding eventhough the person she’s marrying (my stepfather) abused me (and my sister) and gave me PTSD. Somehow abuse in my family is kept very secretive, like my mom’s cousin got severely abused ( beaten badly) by her ex lover and yet my aunt (mom’s sister) is still friends with him. My aunt and other family members had already know about it yet they still treat the ex lover as a friend.
It's not me, but my older brother who went through hell with my father. When he was barely even 11, my father had beat him and held him by his neck against the wall. I never found out about the abuse until my mom finally divorced him when I was in 10th grade. I felt so ashamed to even call myself his sister, I had no idea what my family was going t...... reply
