What is the most fuck up thing your parent(s)(or family members) have done to you?
Mines is my mom ask me to go to her wedding eventhough the person she’s marrying (my stepfather) abused me (and my sister) and gave me PTSD. Somehow abuse in my family is kept very secretive, like my mom’s cousin got severely abused ( beaten badly) by her ex lover and yet my aunt (mom’s sister) is still friends with him. My aunt and other family members had already know about it yet they still treat the ex lover as a friend.
My mother pretended to be my aunt for the first 14 years of my life.
Day one of the "births" of me and later my sibling, custody was immediately given to my grandparents and they were the parental roles instead. I always thought of my grandma as my real mom even after the revelation.
