What is the most fuck up thing your parent(s)(or family members) have done to you?
Mines is my mom ask me to go to her wedding eventhough the person she’s marrying (my stepfather) abused me (and my sister) and gave me PTSD. Somehow abuse in my family is kept very secretive, like my mom’s cousin got severely abused ( beaten badly) by her ex lover and yet my aunt (mom’s sister) is still friends with him. My aunt and other family members had already know about it yet they still treat the ex lover as a friend.
When my mom proceed to beat me for hours (and like a day or two later too) just bc I tried to have a civil conversation educating her on her racism. (And people ask me why I don’t stand up to people) And after that, she would still make snide remarks and I just couldn’t do anything ab it bc I didn’t want to get whooped again.
