Whats a deep fried dough from your country!?
Mine is "puff puff" bc my family is from Nigeria. theyre like doughnut holes but bigger and kinda chewy. 98% of the time, they are sweet but you can make them like onion flavour lol.
We have two (from the Philippines anyway) .. simple one is called Bitsu-bitsu or bicho-bicho, a twisted dough, deep fried and coated with sugar (sometimes with cheese inside)
The other is called Empanada .. deep fried dough usually filled with any kind of meat and vegies (or cheese). The filling depends on ur preference, but I just like the simpl...... 1 reply
