I NEED LOVE ADVICE ASAP!

so, I have a high school friend who I love secretly, now we're in college on a different city. We not close when high school, just know each other name and face. But when we start college, he started to message me frequently and we're a good buddies.

Now I'm on my third year of college that means we already talked for 3 years and he's confessed to me recently. But I'm an overthinker. I'm afraid he just after my body because after he confessed his feelings, he tell me that he want to go on a date then hs.

Is it normal or I'm just overthinking everything???
