What's your motivation?
So I'm a student right now and long story short I'm depressed and doesn't really have any motivation to do my best in school. I can get good grades when I try but I just don't really see the reason why I should? Which really makes me wonder what other's motivation to keep going is. If you're free please share it!
My desire of endless consumption of fiction: games, webtoons, webnovels all that. And you need money for that. That's all that is to life, and I think I am fine thinking that way. Life is too short to be an amazing person with idealistic ambitions, so it's fine to be motivated by the simpler things in life. reply
tbh when i feel lazy to study, i think about how the academic year 23-24 in palestine officially ended because all the children are either dəad or displaced. 1 reply
BE BETTER THAN EVERYONE

Narcissism. I just feel like im better than everyone else (or i wanna be) so i try to hv better grades, looks and personality than the nerds and school princes/princesses. but i also compare myself to dumb people to boost my self confidence.
but what really keeps me going is an extremely common asian phrase "if you have da good grades, then da l...... 1 reply
If you view your future as an abstract, unspecific thing then I think it's honestly understandable that you don't feel motivated, and don't know why you should try.
What motivates me (well, motivated as a student, and continues to do so even afterwards) is a standard of living that I want to enjoy: work as little as possible in a job that doesn't ...... reply
