AO3 Authors and Manhwagas are the same but one is respected
I'm not sure if it's just me but AO3 authors tend to be really respected to the point where even an ounce of criticism, there will be people that will defend them to the bitter end. On the other hand, a lot of Manhwagas(and even some mangakas) are given a lot of shit and are disregarded majority of the time. Why is that? Because I swear they're the same in my eyes if not AO3 authors are worse but why are they given the upper hand?
well. for one fanfic authors are not professionals nor are they being paid. it's all unpaid labor that is a sheer labor of love born from their passion for a story or piece of media. manhwa artists and authors are held to a higher standard because they are selling their work and it's expected that therefore it will be of higher quality (obvi not al...... 1 reply
